Extra points for THE VIBE local but up to date, old house but more like old school and taste is homely, cocktails delicious 100% what else you need ? This place is everything combined must visit when you go to GOA 🥂

Naaa. Almost want to gate keep this place, BUT it’s too good not to share. Quaint and perfectly tucked away, a proper Goan dive bar. My first time there but I’m sure with the way locals greeted each other and the staff this place seemed quite institution-esk. Food is exactly what it needs to be. The music and vibes were not pretentious at all and the atmosphere was electric. 1000% returning on my next visits to Goa.

The vibe the atmosphere and the crowd with the staff and the owner everything is top notch 100/100 would highly recommend this place to all the peeps . Please maintain the decorum and hygiene cause lots of outsider are here just to ruin the vibe . I would also like to appreciate Lena she was great at her service and the food is too good .

I had the most delicious pork ribs here – tender, juicy, and full of flavor! Honestly, the best food I’ve tried in the Baga area so far. My hotel owner recommended this spot, and now I know why. Great taste, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting! Definitely a hidden gem in North Goa. This place is the place if you are looking for local Goa vibes. Though they have a limited menu but it's too good. The music and the overall vibe there is just correct. Bonus if you are a cat lover - they have this fluffy sexy looking cat and if you are lucky, the cat may just accompany you. Not to worry, if you are not a cat lover, there is enough seating in here.

Cajy Bar is a hidden gem that offers a truly authentic Goan bar experience. The vibe is relaxed, local, and welcoming — perfect if you want to step away from overcrowded tourist spots. The food is outstanding, especially the classic Goan bar snacks. Must-try dishes include the pork ribs, pork chilli fry, beef chilli fry, chicken cafreal, chicken croquettes, and Goan sausages (chorizo). Everything is freshly cooked, well-seasoned, and goes perfectly with a chilled beer or a peg of spirits. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced, making it great value for money. Service is another highlight — the staff are friendly, quick, and make you feel at home whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time. Overall, Cajy Bar is ideal for anyone looking for good food, strong drinks, fair pricing, and a genuine Goan local-bar vibe. Highly recommended if you’re staying around Baga, Arpora, or Anjuna.

The food is decent and the drinks are fairly priced. It’s a good idea to go early if you want to grab a table, as it tends to fill up quickly and seating can be hard to find later in the evening. Its mainly a spot where locals come to drink and relax. The atmosphere is lively and has that proper Goan bar feel. A solid place for casual evening with friends

Excellent meal at Cajy Bar. Service was quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Food was excellent across the board, prices were very fair, and there was even a friendly cat hanging around, which only added to the charm. The roast tongue with garlic poi was the standout. The tongue was incredibly soft, with no toughness or snap at all, and the garlic poi was perfect with it. The beef croquettes were also excellent. Honestly, everything I tried was good. When I’m back in Goa, I’ll definitely return.
